A. No firearms are not dangerous when used in a safe and proper manner, the Armadale-Byford Rifle Club ensures a high level of safety concerning the use of firearms at the range. Both eye and ear protection are compulsory when working at the butts or near the mound.
Q. How do I obtain a firearms licence?
A. The simplest way to obtain a firearms licence is to apply online CLICK HERE . You must prove that you have a genuine need for holding a firearm licence. After becoming a member of the ABRC and serving a qualifying period, the club may provide you with written support for your application.
Q. Is it ok to come down to the range for a shoot when intoxicated or under the influence of drugs?
A. No under no circumstance are you to arrive at the range for a shoot when under the influence of drugs and alcohol. ABRC take this very seriously and will not be tolerated. Alcohol is also not to be consumed on the range even when you have completed your shoot. There is no place for drugs and alcohol in the shooting sports PERIOD!
